Hey Cutie,
I decided to start up my “photo a day project” and figured I’d use my blog to document it! Because, why the heck not? Over the past year+, I’ve been having a hard time seeing the positive at times. I’ll let you fill in the blank on why. I’m hoping that, by forcing myself to take a photo every single day of something that brings me joy, maybe I’ll improve my outlook. Be overall more positive. So, here goes!
Day 1: February 8, 2026
In January, I put batteries back in my Tamagotchi Meets x Sanrio Characters. After ten minutes, I remembered why I stopped playing with it. I had a character I didn’t like and couldn’t figure out how to marry it. This time around, I figured out how to marry my little character to another character (Lala, one of the Little Twin Stars). This is right after she proposed.
Day 2: February 9, 2026
I was randomly searching Facebook Marketplace in the Vancouver area, and a bundle of Tweedle Dee Dee items popped up. I immediately reached out to the seller and asked if I could pick it up over the weekend. It was a very exciting find as a Sanrio collector. Fletch, my friend Jessica, and I turned it into a fun trip to Vancouver, in addition to finding a grail Sanrio bundle.
Day 3: February 10, 2026
Sometimes I stand in my office and look at the little trinkets and plushies in my collection. This small plush is one of my more vintage items and one of my favorites.
Day 4: February 11, 2026
I recently decided to start collecting Pokémon cards again. It has been a ton of fun. I love researching designs, finding shops to buy inexpensive cards, and curating my collection. It brings me back to my youth. If only I still had my cards from my childhood.🤔
Day 5: February 12, 2026
I’ve been trying out new coffee recipes at home. I purchased an espresso machine in November, so I’ve been enjoying testing ratios for flavoring vs. espresso, creamer, etc. This was the best thus far.
Day 6: February 13, 2026
Fletch surprised me with flowers. He always knows how to make me feel special. I’m a lucky gal. 🥰
Day 7: February 14, 2026
For Valentine’s Day, Fletch and I decided to spend the entire day together in Tacoma. We went to our favorite breakfast spot, grabbed coffee, and visited a few of our favorite shops. It was wonderful. 💕
Day 8: February 15, 2026
One of my favorite activities lately has been thrifting. I found all of these cuties secondhand.
Day 9: February 16, 2026
Lily and Lemon never share the same bed. This was a very special circumstance that deserved a photo.
Day 10: February 17, 2026
I’ve been trying to find a new way to wind down before bed because TikTok videos weren’t cutting it. I’ve taken to crosswords and word searches.
